The Costa Blanca, forms the coastline of the Province of Alicante and in which, Javea has a privileged location. It is not only an area dedicated to tourism, it also provides the perfect conditions to live: along with its magnificent beaches and the exceptional climate it is necessary to mention a good communication network, modern infrastructures, universities, museums, business centres and many other services that make this enclave an outstanding point of the Mediterranean.
As an outstanding city on the Costa Blanca, Javea is 105 km. to the south of Valencia and 90 km. to the north of Alicante. By car, the main access is via the AP-7 (exits 62 and 63). The lofty heights of the Montgo mountain range, a natural park from 1987, overlooking Javea receives the visitor. On its slopes the founders of the company developed the Rimontgo residential complex, thus giving its name to our company.
The road from Javea to the Cabo de la Nau takes to us first past the beach of the Arenal, one of most popular of the town. Javea offers the choice of several beaches, allowing the opportunity to bathe in discrete coves as well as the practice of all types of aquatic sports (scuba diving, snorkelling, fishing, canoeing, water skiing, surfing, sailing, etc.).
Javea also suggests other proposals for outdoor activities: golf (Javea Golf Club and La Sella Golf Club), sailing courses in the Club Nautico, horse-riding, basketball, tennis, football, trekking and rock climbing on the Montgo, etc.
Gastronomy: Javea offers a wide variety of restaurants in which to enjoy the local dishes like paella, arròs amb fessols i naps (rice with beans and turnips), arroz a la marinera, cruet of peix (fish stew), salted meats of different types or the traditional coques (savoury pies with vegetables that sometimes include salt meats or cold meats).
The old quarter is dominated by the church fort of San Bartholomew. Of gothic style, it the stage of diverse concerts of classical music throughout the year. Close by, there is the local market, the town council and the Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum "Soler Blasco", situated in a Renaissance palace.
Any time of the year it is a good time to visit Javea and you can always find celebrations of interest in the locality: San Sebastian in January, the celebrations in honour of Jesus of Nazareth before and after Easter, the bonfires of San Juan in June, Moors and Christians in July and the celebrations in honour of the Virgin of Loreto in September.
