Llíria
Only 25 kilometres from Valencia city, Liria is a lively town of over 20,000 residents. Set amid mountains and farmland on the right bank of the River Turia, it is a pretty place of whitewashed houses, gardens and winding cobbled streets.
An ideal setting for families, there are excellent amenities including shops, markets, schools, sports centres and even a cinema. The Metro links it directly with the centre of Valencia. A traditional town, Liria is overlooked by the San Miguel monastery and has an archaeological museum and sizeable public auditorium that hosts the annual World Music Festival.
