Olleria
Ensconced between two ravines called Foia de Port and La Freira, L’Olleria lies south of the Serra Grossa in the Vall dAlbaida region. Just inland from Valencia, the beach at Gandia is 30 minutes away, Xativa 10 minutes and access to Valencia airport is easy.
The little town, famous for its glassware and ceramics, now has a modern factory that uses both new and recycled materials, while other traditional industries such as wood manufacture, pottery, furniture, bamboo, rattan production and the making of fireworks add further to its prosperity. A daily fresh produce market offers grapes, olives, almonds and summer fruits, all locally grown.
