Lose yourself during the summertime in beaches on the Costa Blanca

The Costa Blanca offers a wide variety of beaches and coves that attract all kinds of visitors during the summer period. Lovers of water sports and solitary coves, or families with young children, will all find their ideal spot in any one of the very attractive locales, such as Jávea, Altea, Moraira or Denia.

Jávea is one area offering a range of beaches which are as important as the list of people that bathe in them. Here one will find beaches ideal for tourists looking for a quality service. Beaches include the Playa del Arenal or Playa del Primer Montañar, home to the iconic La Siesta and Montgo Di Bongo, which have been fashionable for decades and are open from breakfast time until late at night. From the number of coves worth mentioning in Jávea, there is the Cala Sardinera, a cove surrounded by calm waters and accessible via a path leading from the Portitxol viewpoint, and La Granadella, perfect for lovers of diving, and has been the setting for certain famous films, such as The Cold Light Of Day, with Henry Cavill and Bruce Willis.

Not far from the city of Alicante are too large beaches which run between the promenade along the beach and the seafront. Very popular for both the inhabitants of Alicante and for summer tourists, San Juan beach and, by extension, Muchavista beach, offer crystalline waters, immaculate sands and an impeccable service. For this reason, they are strongly recommended for families looking for a quiet, quality beach, free from mass tourism.

Together with the many tourist attractions that can be found in its urban areas, Denia is a locale offering miles of beaches and quality waters, accompanied by a large choice of sporting activities. Those simply looking for sun, relaxation, time to read, and an occasional dip in the sea will feel at home on Les Marines beach. On the other hand, lovers of snorkelling or scuba diving will be happier on smaller beaches such as the spectacular Les Rotes.

Many other places on the Costa Blanca provide unique environments in which beauty and diversity come together. We must not forget to mention other beaches and coves such as Cap Negret à Altea, La Caleta in Villajoyosa, or Cap Blanc, close to Teulada-Moraira.
