LeadingRE analyse the immediate future of real estate digital marketing

LeadingRE Conference 2016Ignacio Artagoitia, director of Rimontgó’s IT department, went to the American city of Miami at the end of February last month to attend Leading Real Estate Companies of the World’s award ceremony.

In the latest edition, Rimontgó’s mobile version of its new website was chosen amongst the top three international web adaptations in the category of “Best mobile site” and, despite not winning this award, as Ignacio Artagoitia stated, “being one of the worldwide finalists is a very important recognition.” On the other hand, in previous years, LeadingRE has recognised the work of Rimontgó in the field of digital marketing with awards such as “Best Interactivity Award” (2013), “Best New Media” (2011), “Best Overall Website” (2010) or “Best SEO Strategy” (2009).

This edition also says goodbye to Ignacio Artagoitia as a consultant member of LeadingRe’s Marketing Technology Advisory Council (MarTech), after completing the set stages. Artagoitia’s work, the first non-American or Canadian member of this Council, was widely received by his council members. During the convention held in Miami, Artagoitia held a talk about Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) in which he analysed and explained Rimontgó’s work in the digital marketing sector.

Also, Rimontgó’s involvement with Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, an organisation that brings together a large selection of real estate companies specialising in luxury properties, is reflected in the presence of the Valencian company in Momentum Club (which recognises those firms which actively participate in the international promotion of LeadingRE) or Global Alliance Club (a group of companies that excel in sending international referrals).

Other topic discussed during the convention, which also involved Matt Leone from Halstead Property (New York), one of the leaders in the digital marketing field with regards to real estate properties, was the importance that mobile devices have regarding online searches and consumption, a role that will display exponential growth in upcoming years, as indicated by, for example, different studies carried out by the National Association of Realtors. Talks also analysed the necessary adaptation of real estate company’s digital sectors to the tastes of the millennial generation within an online domain, the massive arrival of 3D technology through devices like Google’s Carboard glasses and Samsung’s Oculus, as well as problems relating to intellectual property images and videos, as well as the essential implementation of cybersecurity measures against hackers and to protect information stored in the cloud by some real estate companies.
