Carlos Falcó and José Ribes Bas

Carlos Falcó, Marquis of Griñon (Marqués de Griñon), visited Valencia over the 10th and 11th of November to attend the presentation of the trade association Valencia Excellence at the headquarters of CECOVAL (Confederación de Empresarios del Comercio Valenciano), an organisation that Rimontgó belongs to and that brings together a considerable group of companies and businesses united by excellence, prestige goods and clients with high purchasing power.

Carlos Falcó is a founder member of Círculo Fortuny, a non-profit association that brings together upmarket cultural and creative businesses, belonging to distinct sectors of the Spanish economy. Círculo Fortuny is also a part of the European Cultural and Creative Industries Alliance (ECCIA), made up of associations linked to the luxury sector in Spain, France, Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom. ECCIA brings together 400 companies from the most exclusive field along with European cultural institutions.

Falcó made the most of his passing through Valencia by holding a meeting with José Ribes, the CEO of Rimontgó, in an appointment that served to analyse the current outlook of the luxury sector in Spain and establish methods to strengthen it. During his visit to the city, the Marqués de Griñon attended various meetings related to his wine and oil businesses, two products through which Falcó’s company stands out with quality and exclusivity. During these days Carlos Falcó enjoyed two cuisine hot spots, namely Casa Montaña and Pilsener.
