Porcelanosa shows that technological kitchens can also be appealing

The company presents exclusive and state-of-the-art designs in EuroCucina 2018, such as the Emotions series, which highlights its quality materials and innovation in kitchens

Kitchen design is a field in which there is still much to be discovered. It is not easy to combine functionality with aesthetics, but Porcelanosa achieves this in its Emotions series (from ‘Gamadecor’), where the quality of the materials is perfectly assembled with the avant-garde.  The Valencian company has presented the products of this series in Eurocucina 2018, the kitchen fair which was celebrated from the 17th to the 22nd April, in the Salone del Mobile in Milan.

The Porcelanosa stand in this international event has been made up of no fewer than 300m2 divided into four atmospheres. The aim was to show all the options that this collection offers, together with the flooring, tiling, and kitchen countertops belonging to the different brands of the company. The common denominator of all this lies with technological innovation, which has led to a revolution in both the development and the facilities.

In the first atmosphere (Emotions Carnival 7.30 Roble Negro), the main appeal is in the hidden doors and the rustic wood finishing, whilst the second (Emotions Carnival 7.30 Cuero, Limo Mate) emphasises the shelving with LED lighting and the panel area. The dark tone marble from L’Antic Colonial (Habana Dark) is present in the worktop, the flooring, and the splashback panels, giving the kitchen much elegance.

The third space (Emotions 5.90 Pizarra Brillo, 7.90 Roble Polvo) is highlighted for the purity of its compositions, with a large solid wooden table which stands out and is extended over the main piece. In this design, an innovative door opening system has been chosen, with a hinged door fitting that is invisible to the user’s eye. Finally, Emotions 6.90 has a breakfast table which is integrated into the same worktop, made with Krion K-Life.  A piece of latest-generation technology, which we have already mentioned, and which activates its antibacterial properties when coming into contact with any type of light.

The visitors of the Salone del Mobile were left impressed by the designs of the Valencian Community firm, which is one of the pioneers in coverings all over the world. A new generation of smart kitchens has arrived in the industry to increase and offer new architectonic and gastronomical possibilities. Something that has been demonstrated in the 22nd edition of EuroCucina, where new technologies have been more present than ever.
