Rimontgó features in Spain’s influential Expansión newspaper

Property purRimontgo article in Expansiónchasers across the board have become increasingly demanding over the years and this phenomenon is even more marked among buyers of luxury homes.

Spain’s respected economic newspaper, Expansión, decided to ask the experts, namely esteemed vendors of high-end properties, consulting Rimontgó’s Cristina Martinez. Confirming that expectations were constantly increasing, she stated: “Executives spend very little time at home. But while they are there they expect all the comfort and five-star features that allow them to relax.”

Big cities almost always feature such developments and Valencia is no exception. Many top business leaders work long hours and have limited time to devote to mundane tasks like cleaning, so opt for a full domestic service. The best of these elite teams are capable of maintaining the overworked executive’s home in pristine condition, scooping every leaf out of the swimming pool, plumping every cushion in the living room and meticulously ironing clothes before returning them to their rightful place.

Questioned about the typical inhabitant of such a home, Cristina revealed that they were primarily popular with professionals, senior executives and business leaders, but some of the best also attract elite sports stars, NATO employees based in Valencia, fashion designers and politicians. One eccentric client was especially interested in finding a house that contained a room large enough to house his immense Scaletrix set.

Villa Torre en Conill, ValenciaThe old saying ‘location, location, location’ is – if anything – even more applicable to five-star developments. Prospective buyers willing to spend millions of euros on their dream home are generally looking for peace and quiet, but are equally keen to enjoy access to as many business and leisure facilities as possible. Therefore, the most popular urbanisations can be found within a short commute of the city.

A visible security presence is also a much sought after amenity, while the many foreign residents that have chosen to settle in the Valencia area tend to look for developments that feature either on-site facilities, which enable residents to enjoy a lively social life, or are conveniently situated close to golf courses, equestrian centres and other establishments that encourage a feeling of community. With so many homeowners being tied to the office commute during the week, it makes sense for their families to look for diversion close to home.

Rimontgó has several excellent properties located in five-star housing developments:

Los Monasterios, to the north of Valencia with excellent access, including sea views and club house as well as an excellent restaurant and large social and sporting areas.

Torre en Conill, close to the Club de Golf Escorpión to the northwest of Valencia. A modern urbanisation in the centre of a golf course.

El Bosque, to the west has a golf club, equestrian centre, tennis club and two excellent restaurants.
