Three villas in Valencia in which to invest in with the ‘El Niño’ lottery

In one of our most recent articles we presented a selection of villas on the Costa Blanca in which to invest your winnings from the ‘El Gordo’ Christmas lottery. This selection was based on the fact that the acquisition of real estate is one of the top most prioritised investment options. The reasoning behind this trend has been explained in recent annual reports from prestigious international companies from the real estate sector such as Christie’s International Real Estate or Luxury Portfolio.

Following the same thread as the previous article, we have decided to offer another selection of exclusive properties, focusing on the ‘El Niño’ lottery which took place on January 6th. This lottery draw is the 2nd most important in Spain, beaten only by the Christmas National Lottery (El Gordo), where the top prize consists of just half of the prizes awarded by ‘El Gordo’: with a top prize of 2 million for full price tickets and 200,000 for the décimos (a tenth of a ticket). The total value reaches a billion euros, with 700 million euros shared between prizewinners. According to some investigators, the lottery draw has its origin in the Rifa Nacional del Niño (National Raffle) promoted at the end of the 19th century by María del Carmen Hernández and Espinosa de los Monteros, in that era known as the Duchess of Santoña. The current draw was institutionalised during the 40s and adopted its current name in 1966. Interestingly, it was celebrated on January 5th until 1999 but has been celebrated on the 6th since the year 2000.

The three villas included in this article, have not only top quality construction in common, but all three also enjoy very close proximity to the city of Valencia. Situated, extremely close to a range of necessary services and amenities.

The first of the properties is situated in La Eliana, a traditional residential zone located near to prestigious educational institutions. Measuring at 300m², the property is set on a large 1600m² plot. A special feature of this property are the water areas, with a huge spa that reflects the design of the Arab ‘hammam’.

The second property is located in one of the most prestigious residential complexes closest to Valencia, Torre en Conill (Betera), a residential area with 24hr. security and within close proximity to the Escorpion golf club. The villa is of a modern and bright design and measures at 360m² with a 550m² plot.

The last of the villas chosen enjoys a privileged location, as it is set just a few metres from El Puig, specifically in the Puig Val complex. This recently constructed villa enjoys a great deal of privacy due to its 500m² plot.
