A truly maritime Holy Week

To spend the days of Easter week rocked by the murmur of the waves is a very appealing option. And, what if you could do this in a house filled with such special qualities?

Easter by the sea

Whilst for other cities in Spain Semana Santa (Holy week) is a celebration that is exhibited throughout all the streets, in the case of Valencia the celebrations are focused together in the district of Poblados Marítimos. In the neighbourhoods of Cabanyal, Canyamelar and Grao approximately 30 brotherhoods gather together and, as well as organizing different maritime processions, they generate a particularly festive atmosphere.  However, you do not have to follow the liturgy in order to enjoy this time next to the beach, but simply having a house which enables you to relax and have fun alongside the sea is enough to recharge your batteries over the Easter break.  In order to really experience Maritime Holy Week, at Rimontgó we propose to you a selection of luxury villas, each with its own style and located on a different beach, but in every case possessing very special characteristics.

The path towards the beach – Corinto (Sagunto)

Nothing can separate this large house from the Mediterranean sea, as it is situated  on the frontline of the beach without any obstructions, and with direct access to the sand, this house boasts spectacular views of the shore. This does not stop you from having your own garden with a pool, as well as a spacious terrace where you can spend the afternoons without any worries other than what you are going to read.  The area where it is located, known as Playa de Corinto, is a very peaceful residential area in which there are no large constructions, but does offer services.  It is less than 5 kilometres from the town of Sagunto and less than 35km from Valencia.  It is the perfect spot to lose yourself in your thoughts, without the need to take yourself too far.

Barbecue days – Moraira (Teulada)

Moraira is a small town of Teulada (Alicante), with a maritime calling, whose image proves especially beautiful.  This is much more so if it is gazed at from a spectacular villa such as this one, whose immense pool looks directly onto the mountains, as well as being surrounded by a spacious garden and a relaxation area.  Also, the exterior flaunts a roofed barbecue area, supplied with a wide worktop surface, as well as plenty of space for resting. A fantastic house for entertaining guests, since it spreads approximately 400m2, and is distributed across two floors plus a basement, which could be converted into an apartment.

To bathe amongst the palm trees  – Torre Bellver (Benicàssim)

Is it possible to lay back next to the pool with a fixed gaze of the sea and a natural park both at the same time?   Rimontgó presents a spectacular property, situated on one of the best plots of the Torre Bellver (Benicàssim) residential complex, of almost 2,300m2 of land which is completely flat.  The infinity pool is orientated towards the coast, enjoying some unique panoramic views, which are also prominent from the large terrace expanding more than 219m2.   And whilst on the topic of the quality of the exterior, it is impossible to forget the beautiful tropical-inspired garden, in which we find more than 100 palm trees of 63 different species.

The luxury of the bay – Portichol (Jávea)

A house of 959m2, located on a 1981m2 plot and distributed across three floors with a lift, is no ordinary house.  Even less so if it is found on the Playa del Portichol and has exclusive views of the Bahía de Jávea.  If the main building has numerous rooms and facilities, in terms of the garden, the cultivated Mediterranean vegetation and the infinity pool are worth being mentioned. The property also has a charming fully-equipped summer kitchen with barbecue, ideal for holding long dinners with the arrival of the good weather.
