A day at the races: pomp, ceremony, tradition and adrenaline

Equestrian pursuits have always had a regal air about them, from dressage and show jumping to horse racing. Perhaps it is the association with cavalry and knightly horsemanship, perhaps the sheer cost of maintaining these fine animals and their noble bloodlines, but even the lively distraction of gambling does nothing to diminish the tradition, intensity and sense of occasion that horse racing carries with it.

Ten-year anniversary of the largest luxury real estate network in Europe

Between the 11 and 13 September 2014, the tenth anniversary celebration of the European Real Estate Network (EREN) will take place in Berlin. This network comprises a number of real estate firms which specialise in exclusive properties throughout Europe. Berlin Capital Investments, a company based in the German capital, will be in charge of organising this special anniversary event, and will be represented by Peter Rabitz and Thomas Zabel.

EREN takes it to another level

EREN has become a reference point for luxury real estate in Europe. At the annual strategic meeting, hosted by Von Poll Immobilien, in Frankfurt in October last year, the members however decided that the stage had been reached for EREN to evolve to the next level. Now, it has been decided to relinquish the association structure in favour of a more professional organisation that will be aimed at expanding EREN’s presence in more countries, regions and cities across Europe.
