The Leading Real Estate Companies of the World

Momentum Club - 2015

The person in charge of Rimontgó's IT department travelled to the US city of Miami at the end of February to attend the awards ceremony of the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.

In this latest edition, the mobile version of Rimontgó's new website was chosen among the three best international adaptations in the category of "Best mobile site" and, although Rimontgó did not finally receive the award, as the director of technology points out, "being one of the finalists on a global scale is a very important recognition". On the other hand, in previous editions, LeadingRE has recognised Rimontgó's work in the field of digital marketing with awards such as "Best Interactivity Award" (2013), "Best New Media" (2011), "Best Overall Website" (2010) or "Best SEO Strategy" (2009).

This edition also marked the farewell of the CTO as an advisory member of LeadingRe's Marketing Technology Advisory Council (MarTech), having completed his appointed term. The work of our CTO, the first member of this Council not to be from the United States or Canada, was widely recognised by his fellow council members. During the convention held in Miami, he gave a talk on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), in which he analysed and presented to the audience the work carried out by Rimontgó in this specific area of digital marketing.

Similarly, Rimontgó's involvement within Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, an entity that brings together a large selection of international real estate companies specialising in luxury properties, is reflected in the presence of the Valencian company in the Momentum Club (which recognises those firms that actively participate in the international promotion of LeadingRE) or the Global Alliance Club (a group of companies that stand out in the sending of international referrals).

Other topics discussed during the convention, which also included the participation of Matt Leone from Halstead Property (New York), one of the leaders in the field of digital marketing applied to real estate, included the importance acquired by mobile devices in online searches and consumption, a role that will grow exponentially in the coming years, as indicated, for example, by various studies carried out by the National Association of Realtors. They also analysed the necessary adaptation of the digital areas of real estate companies to the tastes of the millennial generation in the online field, the massive arrival of 3D technology through devices such as Google's Cardboard glasses or Samsung's Oculus, as well as problems concerning the intellectual property of images and videos and, finally, the essential implementation of cybersecurity measures in the face of the hacks already carried out on information stored in the cloud by some real estate companies.
