Villa Gaitanes by Fran Silvestre in La Moraleja.

Villa Gaitanes is a unique contemporary architecture house located in La Moraleja, Madrid, designed by Fran Silvestre Arquitectos. The property has 1,795 m2 built on a plot of 10.040 m2, with south orientation, eight bedrooms, eleven bathrooms and four parking spaces.

The project is proposed in close relation to the garden. The house extends mainly horizontally and uses a combination of straight lines and curved geometries to create patios, terraces and outdoor spaces that accompany the different areas of the house. This configuration allows the main stays to maintain a direct connection with the plot and that the outdoor pool is part of the architectural composition itself.

The main floor brings together much of the daily life of the house. The living room, with 154 m2 according to commercial information, communicates with the dining room of 33 m2 and the kitchen of 46 m2, as well as open to terraces and garden areas. On this floor are also distributed the main bedrooms and private spaces, including the master suite, which incorporates dressing room, bathroom, two offices and exit to the outside. The night area is completed with a guest suite and three junior suites with their own bathroom.

The topography of the plot allows to incorporate a second level with a reduced exterior presence. This plant houses support units, facilities and garage, as well as bedrooms that receive lighting and natural ventilation thanks to the installation of the house on the ground.

The property program is expanded with spaces for leisure and well-being, including indoor and outdoor pool, gym, sauna/spa, cinema, cellar and games room.

The materials follow the architectural approach of clean lines and continuity between spaces. The project contemplates white marble Ibiza for the exterior pavements, natural wood coatings and white oak interior floor, along with large glazed surfaces that favor the entrance of light and the views to the garden.

The plot has a large garden area around the house, as well as a swimming pool and tennis court.

Its location in La Moraleja, in Alcobendas, allows you to combine a low density residential environment with proximity to national and international schools, golf courses, services and connections with Madrid and the airport Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas.
